The consultation is based along similar lines to those of an orthodox GP, but with more time to look at possible
underlying causes. The initial consultation normally takes about an hour, and includes basic physical examinations such
as height, weight, and blood pressure. Further physical examinations are carried out where appropriate. Follow-up
consultations normally take about half an hour, and are used to review progress and make any necessary changes to the treatment
plan.

Prices involve the cost of the consultation plus medicine. The most usual form of treatment in
Western herbal medicine is the tincture. A standard dose of tincture is 100 ml per week.
